Given the inherent beauty of the ceremony location, the couple opted for a more natural design for their floral elements. Based on the flowering predictions supplied by the National Arboretum, the couple has selected rose and mauve as two of the primary colors in their wedding palette. These tones can be seen in blooms such as the crape myrtle tree and fall-blooming camellias.
They selected Petal's Edge as their floral vendor because of the elegant simplicity of the company's work. The company also offers an intimate weddings package that fits nicely into the couple's budget. While the couple will not be able to select every type of bloom included in their arrangements, they can supply the vendor with a general color palette and any types that should be excluded.

Bride's Bouquet
“The wildflower bouquet features a rich array of seasonal blooms. Finer bloomed wildflowers such as Queen Anne's lace and sweet William feature prominently, with touches of herbs and grasses to round things out.”
Elena's vision for her bouquet includes primarily shades of light pink and white/cream, with just a few touches of darker shades like mauve.

Maid of Honor's Bouquet
Cameron's maid of honor bouquet will share similarities with that of the bride, but with more greenery as a focus.

Boutonnieres
The couple's floral design includes four boutonnieres: one for the groom, one for the best man, and one for each of the fathers.
These elegant designs will primarily feature a single bloom: in a darker shade for the groom and lighter tones for his fellows.
04
Corsages
These elegant corsages will allow the couple's mothers, as well as Elena's Abuela, to arrive at the wedding ceremony in elegant style. Their arrangements will primarily feature light pink blooms and elements of greenery.

05
Ceremony Ring
This tasteful design will add just the right touch of floral beauty to the autumnal landscape of the National Arboretum. Even better? The ring can be broken into sections and repurposed as decor later on in the day at the reception.

Reception Centerpieces
"The wildflower centerpiece features just picked flowers with lush foliage in a simple glass container. Mason jars and clusters of bud vases complement the eclectic feel of the blooms."
The reception centerpieces will feature many of the same colors and blooms as the ceremony designs, but will also incorporate some warmer tones (e.g. orange, goldenrod, etc.) to complement the existing ambiance of the venue.
