The Reception

Republic Restoratives

The couple selected this venue for several reasons. Primarily, this distillery is a known partner of Gravitas, the sustainably-minded restaurant that Elena and Aidan chose as their caterer. The actual restaurant was too small to accommodate their number of guests, so they were pleased to find such a cozy and welcoming venue that partnered with the caterer.

The couple loves that Republic Restoratives is women-led and politically conscious. They feel confident in bringing business to such an establishment. Additionally, the venue is quite close to their ceremony location, making planning much smoother than a different venue in another area of Washington, DC.

What's Included

The Barrel Room

Rentals, etc.

  • The couple initially planned to just use existing long rectangle tables at the venue but opted to rent a few round tables for escort cards, gifts, etc.

    • The tables will serve multiple purposes as the evening progresses (e.g. escort card table will become the cupcake serving station later in the night).

    • While the long dining tables will receive navy blue linens, the round tables will feature light pink.

  • As an additional cost-saving measure, as well as an appreciation for the venue's existing ambiance, the couple will not be renting additional lighting equipment.

Proudly serving the DMV area and Mid-Atlantic region since 2021
